This peaceful, small-town-style destination is located right next to the South Airport (TFS). Originally designed as a holiday village, it has since become increasingly popular among locals, thanks in part to its charming little harbour, which provides jobs for many residents. The palm-lined road leading into town creates a warm and welcoming arrival.

The seafront promenade is currently undergoing major improvements: it now continues in the direction of Amarilla Golf (and the other way towards Los Abrigos), and a sandy beach is under construction. The town boasts several excellent restaurants; our personal favourites are Vagabundo (serving European flavours) and  The Mill, an Indian restaurant highly rated on the island.

For groceries, Coviran and Dialprix are right next to the Estrella Apartment. Larger supermarkets like Hiperdino and Mercadona are on the ocean side of the motorway, while Aldi and Lidl are on the opposite side. The farmers’ market is in the centre of Las Chafiras.
