On the southwestern tip of Gran Canaria, in the heart of a peaceful town, lies a one-bedroom apartment in Playa del Cura — the perfect choice for those who don’t want to miss out on stunning ocean views during their holiday.

The hillside Monseñor complex offers five swimming pools (including a heated pool and one with a slide), as well as tennis and padel courts. It is only a 4–5 minute walk from the black-sand beach and 10 minutes from a golden sandy beach.

The apartment’s kitchen is fully equipped to prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner, which you can enjoy on the spacious balcony. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed and a built-in wardrobe that neatly hides away your luggage.

At the base of the building you’ll find a small grocery shop, while just down the street there’s a Spar and a variety of restaurants.

Great apartment, clean and including all facilities one might need. Very good location, quiet and with amazing views. Great terrace. We would return anytime. Free parking available on the street. Nearby beach is not the best, but we anyhow travelled a lot on the island and chose different beaches every day. In 5 to 20 minutes by car you can reach any nice beach in the south.

Quiet accommodation within walking distance of two beaches. The apartment was in good condition and offered fantastic views. The photos matched the actual accommodation. In the small town, there is a supermarket and various restaurants. However, on the way from the accommodation to the supermarket, there is a slight elevation change.

Wonderful accommodation with fantastic views. Otherwise, we can only agree with the existing reviews. We would happily stay again. Very good communication with the host. You just need to be a good walker!

Modern, tastefully decorated apartment. I have never experienced so many amenities, from cookware and appliances to spices and toiletries in the bathroom and kitchen. A bottle of drinking water at arrival was a nice surprise. All the decorations were beautifully coordinated and matched perfectly. The large terrace with a stunning view, comfortable furniture, hangers, taps, and an electric awning was the icing on the cake. The complex also has swimming pools. For those who prefer the sea, there are 2 sunbeds with an umbrella. For me, it was perfect.

Its volcanic-sand beach slopes gently, making it ideal for families with young children. In the center of this hillside town you’ll find a Spar supermarket surrounded by restaurants and bars. Playa del Cura is also a fantastic starting point for hiking, with plenty of exciting trails and paths to explore!
